The SALZBURG ADVENT SINGING in the Great Festival Hall is the most important event in Salzburg's Advent and over the decades has developed into the second largest cultural event in the state of Salzburg. Year after year, around 200 participants in front of and behind the stage ensure a contemplative, unforgettable event that has become an integral part of Salzburg's pre-Christmas calendar. Old singing and music-making material, traditional Alpine customs as well as contemporary musical and scenic messages combine to create a harmonious overall work.

The SALZBURG SHEPHERD'S ADVENTURE in the musical tradition of Tobi and Tobias Reiser takes place in the Great Auditorium of the University of Salzburg and is an event in the Salzburg Advent that attempts to return to the roots of Salzburg Advent singing.
Every year in the run-up to Christmas there is an Advent event "A B'SONDERE TIME" Alpine tunes and pastoral plays are presented in the Great Hall of the Mozarteum: traditional and contemplative.
The SALZBURG ADVENT SERENADES are an Advent event with a very special character. The unique compilation with classical and folk music by candlelight as well as texts suitable for Advent and Christmas, as well as first-class Salzburg artists, guarantee a high artistic level of the performances.
Even the traditional ones ADVENT CONCERTS in the old vault of the Romanesque Hall Stiftkeller St.Peter get in the mood for Christmas.
A program with Advent and Christmas songs as well as chamber music by Mozart, performed by internationally renowned musicians, ensures artistic quality at the highest level.
