Special power places in Lammertal:
The LIFE PATH EGLSEE in Abtenau
leads to one of the most beautiful places in the Lammertal - to a special gem, the Eglsee. Numerous display boards provide information about the flora and fauna of this unique landscape protection area.
The DWARF WAY
is a paradise for little guests. Along the 500m long path through Kirchholz you will encounter various dwarves and fairy tale characters.
The SCHEFFAU MILL ROUND TRAIL
leads along the wildly romantic Schwarzenbach stream past the Winner waterfall to the historic “Old Mill” in Oberscheffau.
SNAIL'S WALL NATURE TRAIL
With the Schneckenwand, Rußbach (817 m) has one of the largest fossil sites in the Salzkammergut.
ALMFLOWER PATH on the Postalm
A variety of protected, rare mountain flowers grow in the Postalmarena nature reserve. The signposted alpine flower circular path leads past rustic alpine huts back to the starting point after about three kilometers. Every Tuesday in summer: free alpine flower hike accompanied by a botanist
LAMMERTAL PRIME FOREST in St. Martin / Lungötz
The tree hiking trail ensures intensive encounters between people and trees. An 8 km long educational trail through orchid meadows into the “Lammertaler Jungle” with the tallest trees in Austria (48,5m).

Signposted and varied running routes around the idyllic Abtenau - to Fischbach, Eglsee, Scheffenbichlkogel/Fliehhof and Kainhofbauer/Karkogel.

Wellness for body, mind and soul – recharge your batteries on spiritual trails.
The hiker finds inner peace on the path between St. Gilgen and Bischofshofen. Abtenau is a stage of the pilgrimage route. The path can be walked in five days in both directions and leads along particularly beautiful existing hiking trails.
